Dear Sir,
I have received from the Railway Co an Order on Messrs Coutts to transfer to your Sole Account £4500 now standing in the joint names of yourself and Capt O’Brien, and a Cheque for £505: 14: 3 the balance of the purchase money and Interest from the 17th of Septr last 1846 to the 3d Inst. In case I shod not be able to call on you tomorrow morning which I fear may be the case will you be good enough to say whether I shall remit the Order for the £4500. to Messrs Coutts – the Cheque for £505. 14. 3 I presume you will wish me to retain.
I annex a statemt shewing how the Account is made up, and remain
