Dear Sir,
I am happy to inform you that I have contracted for the purchase of the Land adjoining Wick Farm – a 9 ּ r2 ּ p36 at £628 – this includes the piece of Arable severed by the Railway which I thought it better to purchase <illegible deletion> to prevent any further question about the right of road, and you will see by reference to the accompanying Map that it may be advantageously thrown into your Farm. I leave this on my way home as I shall be unable to call upon you tomorrow
I remain dear Sir Your obliged Servt
