Dear Sir,
I had not heard of Stephen Fussells good fortune but I think it very likely that he may have realized a considerable Sum by the extraordinary rise in the Australian Banking Company’s shares as I know he lately held a good many shares in that Company which a few years ago were almost valueless –
I have compared your Map which you lent me with the old one of 1760 and find all your new purchases and Exchanges correctly laid down – so that it appears to me to be only necessary to mark them as “New purchases” or Exchanges” & your present Map will be complete without any supplementary ones – at all Events I will let it stand over till I have the pleasure of seeing you which I hoped to have done to-day till I received your note of Monday
I am dear Sir Yours obliged
