Dear Sir,

Immediately on receipt of your letter approving the Resolution of the Vestry I communicated with the Church Building Com^rs who have only just informed me that the Plan in sanctioned – I have therefore set the Contractor to work, and I hope nothing will prevent the early completion of the undertaking.

I will do myself the pleasure of calling at the Abbey before you leave –
