I have paid £ 600 Ì to your Acct at the Melksham <2> Bank – I will look out the Agreement made between yourself & Captn Rooke <3> in 1840 – and also the pact of the Right of Water which was executed in 1835 for 50 Years – at a Rent of £ 3 Ì 3 Ì 0 pr Ann [illegible] and let you know how the proposed Sale of Lackham may affect you.
