Dear Sir,
I was sorry I could not leave the Inn on Monday for the purpose of seeing you with reference to the Subject of Mr Mortimores <2> note. I left some Specimens of the iron Stone with Wilkins <3> for your inspection – Mr Mortimore & Mr Brotherhood wish to open one or two holes on Nash Hill for the purpose of Examination – I will accompany them and report to you the result.
Will you be good Enough to say how I shall remit you Money? – I can pay over £900.
