Dear Sir,

My attention was attracted to the error which you refer to in the map of the Lackham Estate, when it at first appeared, and I wrote to the Sol^rs about it – There is no doubt about the small piece near Reybridge N^o 23 – being your’s [sic] – a small slip lying between the Road & the River – the Error is in the Map – the piece itself is all right – The Lacock Tithe Map is at the Vicarage or with the Church Wardens – I will endeavor to borrow it for you the first time I go to Lacock –

I have been to Dauntsey Wharf to-day and enclose replies to the questions you asked me about the distance from Lacock & the probable expence of [illegible] ore by Canal, to the Railway &c –
