Dear Sir,

M^r Nicholson ^<2> has just been here to look at the Settlement which we found yesterday – He has requested to be furnished with a Copy of it in extenso – but for the present wishes a few Extracts only – I presume I may allow him to take them – He intended to have left the accompanying Case at the Abbey for you but I undertook to let you have it this afternoon
