Dear Sir,
I called at the Abbey last Week but found you had left – I am sorry to say I have not yet been able to get a decided answer from Mr Starky <2>, though I do not anticipate any difficulty with him. I am going to Salisbury for the Assizes tomorrow or Saturday – if on my return I find you have left I will write to you in London. perhaps I may see Mr Starky at Salisbury – or his Agents.
