Dear Sir,

I have just seen Mr Holland who is now acting for Mr Starky <2>, and mentioned Mr Cotterells Application for lease to take levels &c at Ash Hill – He has promised me an Answer by the 2nd of the Week – it seems that the Smelting Company at Devizes have applied for a mineral lease of the same farm
