Chippenham <1>

6 Decr 1836

Dear Sir,

Mr Coombs has just been with me – he wishes to know if you are disposed to present Mr Finch <2>’s Nominee provided the Purchase of the Advowson can be legally completed, upon which point he would take the opinion of Counsel – He says that the Purchase money shall be immediately deposited with Mr King <3> – I have requested him to write to Mr King on the subject presuming you have had some communication with him since I last saw you –
