Dear Sir,
If the Security is to be for £4000· I presume you will not object to include Ash Hill Farm – as Nethermore would not be sufficient by itself – the Title being the same the expence will scarcely be increased at all – the first £2000 shall be ready a few days be ready by previous to the 1st May, and the remainder by the 1st July.
I will attend to your wishes about the site for the new Vicarage House.
Mr Blomfields testimonial was presented last Saturday by Sir John Awdry – it consisted of £185· in Cash and a very pretty Tea Service – If the Devizes Paper contains any account of the proceedings I will send it to you –
