Dear Sir,
I have remitted £100– to Messrs Coutts & Co <2> & £150 to Melksham Bank The Bills for the Timber money will become due on the 18th July after which I will send you a Statement of the Sale &c.
I am sorry to say that Farmers Cave & Croker are still defaulters but I hope to see them tomorrow –
The present and last seasons have no doubt been trying to them but I rejoice in the beautiful rain now falling.
