Dear Sir,

I have received Your’s of the 24^th ins^t enclosing your note for £500 –

I think the two last Seasons have been very much against the Plantations at Nethermore ^<2>: and I do not think <Heale?> supplied you well the last time: Wilkins ^<3> required him to substitute a good many fresh Trees in lieu of those which failed, but I always thought them too small. I made the remark to Brinsden when I was last at Nethermore and he thought the same
