Dear Sir,
There will be a Sale in the Market here tomorrow of Cattle &c about 11. o’Clock and if you will send in the Poney I will have him offered by Auction – We need not give any Warranty – and if no more than £15. or £16. is offered I should let him go, John Wilkins <2> is no Groom and he had better be sent in by some one who can ride and manage him – I think Brinsden is at Lacock and wod bring him in if you will desire Wilkins to let him know tonight or Early tomorrow Morning The Poney should be here by 11 o’Clock at the latest
