Dear Sir,

I have not received the Vicars reply about the “Hall Stove” but I have no doubt he will sell it at a Valuation – He tells me he shall sign his Resignation on the 1^st Oct^r and send it to the Bishops Sec^y who will then communicate with the Church Wardens and direct them to provide for the duties till a Successor is appointed –

I return the Vicars Letter to you and will let you know as soon as I hear of the Resignation having been accepted.
