Dear Sir,

Mr Spicers Sale to Mrs Stapleton Bretherson does not in any way affect your property in [illegible] Mead – The quantities are defined in the Parish Map as well as your own and Mr Spicers, so that there can be no question about your respective rights but if you and your Son <1> think it desirable to renew the boundary Stones and I will ask Mrs Bretherson’s Agent to meet us on the Spot for the purpose of seeing them fairly placed –
