Dear Sir,

The Bearer is Mr [Spender?]. Since he first made application for the Situation on your Estate he has had the offer of a n Farm near Bradford which he is inclined to take if he can do so on favorable terms – in Case he should not do so he will be glad to treat for your Situation, if it should be then vacant. He wod require abt £100 pr Ann.
