Dear Sir,
I have sent a Copy of your note, so far as it relates to him, to Mr Collen <1>. I understood you certainly would not want any hay made this Year and therefore sold the Crop at the Abbey to Croker <2> a few days ago finding that it was daily growing less – I think you will find you have plenty of old Hay for your own use. I am afraid this continued drought will be attended with very serious consequences.
