Chippenham <1>

20h Sept 1837

Dear Sir,

I found every thing in progress for the Railing which is to surround the Grave – the Mason’s work was to be finished to day – & I expect that Phelps <2> will get his part completed before Friday night – The ground is all made smooth & will be ready to receive the Turf, whenever you wish it – If you wish any further directions given, before your return to Lacock, I shall be gratified in receiving them & conveying them to the Parties –

Yr Obliged Servt

W. H. Awdry

W. H. F. Talbot Esq
31 Sackville Street
