Warminster
May 9th 1825
Dear Sir,
I should have answered your Letter <1> of the 25th Ultimo immediately, but as you were so kind as to say that any day in this Month would suit you to see me, I deferr’d writing till I had finished my public Receipt – I hope I may not have put you to any inconvenience by so doing –
I now beg to say that it is my intention to be in Town on Wednesday the 18th Inst & to have the pleasure of calling on you at twelve o Clock – I am happy to inform you that all things are going on well at Lacock & that I availed myself of the improvement in agricultural concerns, to give notice of an advance in the Rents – which is to take place from this time – I hope to make your Income at least £200 more –
Having three years Accounts to pass & many things to discuss, I intend being two days in Town, wch I mention, in case the day I have fixed, should not be so convenient to you as the following one –
I am
Dear Sir
