Monday Morng

Dear Sir,

Mr Grosett <2> allowed me to arrange with the Surveyor for either of the Days you mentioned at twelve oClock – I have seen Mr Darley <3> this morning & he has fixed upon Wednesday which I will communicate to Mr Grosett –

I am going from home on Business tomorrow, but will make a point of returning to meet you at the Abbey on Wednesday, if you or Captn Feilding <4> wish me to do so – & if it will of [sic] any convenience I could call at Bowood <5> in my way to offer a seat in my Poney Carriage either to yourself or Captn Feilding now that the Roads are become so wet –

Will you be so good as to give me a Line by the Bearer in answer to this & I will do whatever is most agreeable to you –
