Friday Night

Dear Sir/

The enclosed Receipts were presented to me for Payment yesterday & I took them as Cash, in order to pass the Collectors Accounts for the day – if there should be any thing incorrect in the Charge, the Collectors will make it right –

I am happy to report that I have let the House next to the Red Lion <2> – to an old & respectable Tenant of your (Mrs Barton) She is to give £10– Pr Annum & if any repairs are wanted to do them herself – I believe she wants it for one of her Sons –
