Dear Sir/

I have sent to M^r Grosett ^<2>, to enquire respecting his Banker, & in reply, he has sent an Authority to M^r Gale ^<3> the Auctioneer of this place, to receive your Payment – which he has shewn me –

If you approve the Arrangement, M^r Gale will be obliged by your remitting the amount to me thro’ Mess^rs Fry ^<4> & Chapman, w^ch I can then pay over to him & take his Receipt as M^r Grosett’s Agent. –
