Dear Sir,

Mr Fussell’s Son <1> paid me his Rent – yesterday – He mentioned about the Plantation & it the payment was deferr’d till the measure was ascertained – wch can now be settled – I will inform him what you are likely to want for next year –

I find that the Building wch we saw from the South Terrace – is a Malt house which two of the Bartons are erecting on some Land belonging to their family, in the Lane leading from Bewley Common <2> to Nash Hill <3>
