Dear Sir,

You will see by Mr Michell’s <2> answer, that nothing definitive can be settled till to morrow morng but I certainly think (from Wilmot’s <3> Letter) that Mr Pownall <4> will not come – & I therefore expect you will have to canvass to morrow at all events –
