Chippenham <1>

Tuesday night

Dear Sir,

I have seen the Proprietors of the Cloth & of the Silk factories, & I am desired by both to say, that they shall have much pleasure in shewing them to you at any time, but they request a previous Note from you, mentioning the day you intend calling, in order that they may be at home – Mr Rawlins of the Cloth factory, said he should be from home next Thursday – Mr Spiers <2> mentioned having recd your Card the other day –

I will attend minutely to all your instructions on the subject of the future Repairs – & remain
