Dear Sir/
In reply to your note of the 25th I beg leave to say that Mr [illegible] has been in treaty, on my part, with the Railway Company these last three Weeks, and on my enquiries to day, I find proposals have been made for their consideration, which you will see precludes the possibility of my entering into any other treaty at present.
