Simultaneously with this I forward the eleven proofs, some [illegible wax which may be put into warm (not hot) water before using or left in the sun. my [sic] daughter also sends you some ferns which she will be glad of again if not destroyd in your process. the [sic] gause [sic] I mentioned as a [fine?] & capable of use to you to produce a flat tint, over all, is made by J. F. Hennecart <1> 30 Rue Léchiquier Paris, for Bolting Machines
