Queen Square <Place?> Westn
Oct 24 1840
My dear Sir
I have now unpacked the box of plants from Sims <1> herbarium which you were kind enough to send me – and although as you say a considerable number of the parcels contain but little they being apparently the <refuse?> from which he had selected the best to lay down in his general herbarium glued upon small white paper – yet there are also some parcels containing very fine specimens of Guiana and other S. American plants which are at the moment particularly valuable to me – If therefore you are still disposed so to do and if it be not giving you too much trouble I should be exceedingly obliged by your sending me the remainder
Ever yours sincerely
George Bentham
