Monsieur

A M Beoker

Translation:

Dear Sir

Please be good enough to send me the two newspapers in question, and follow them with a note of your costs; as soon as I have the newspapers, and I have a day to lose, I will go to Mr Daguerre and I will be sure to give him your compliments. Americans are very enthusiastic about everything they like, and they have carried forward photographic art to great heights.

Please accept, sir, my very sincere regards.
A. M. Beoker
