Dear Sir

I have for some time had an idea of publishing some researches on the Assyrian inscriptions, and in fact I printed a few pages for distribution at the meeting of the British Association at Liverpool last September but I found no convenient opportunity for doing so and in fact the memoir was too brief to be of any importance. I should be glad to learn whether anyt^g new has been published on the subject by others during the past twelvemonth and whether the B. Museum has published any more of the inscriptions – I will call at the Museum of Friday and shall be much obliged by any information you could give me on these points –
