Sir,

I have been unable to reply earlier to your enquiry respecting Humboldt. <1> The Plants Equinoxioles are plain – no copies were published in colours, and I believe none exist. The Melastomer as 3 / 3 / · are beautifully coloured.

I shall be willing to take in exchange any books which you may wish to part with. If you will be at the trouble to send me a list I will say about their value, or if you send them up, I can either return them, or send them to a sale in London, if they do not suit me at all.

I am Sir,
Your most obed Sevt

Henry G. Bohn
