My dear Sir,
I have this morning received a note from Mr Blomfield, from which it wd appear that he means to accept this Curacy – He is coming to Lacock to-morrow to decide about it –
He was from home when the Bishop wrote, or I shd have heard from him before – Mr John Paley is staying at Capt Rook’s & in case of Mr Blomfield’s declining the Curacy means to apply for it again, tho’ his Father has withdrawn his nomination –
Believe me Yrs very faithfully
