Notes:

1. Brewster’s second wife, Jane Kirk Purnell, whom he married in 1857. She was in the last stages of pregnancy and gave birth to their daughter on 27 January 1861.

2. In the Murrayfield area of Edinburgh [see Doc. No: 08276]. The Talbots were at 11 Moray Place.
