We have received your letter of the 11th containing the following railway scrip certificates

10 Coventry & Leicester Junction Shares

5 London Worcester Rigby & Oxford Shares

10 Staines & Richmond Junction Shares.

5 Armagh Coleraine & Portrush Shares

& Bankers receipt or 30 Great Indian Peninsula Shares, which latter we re enclose you as it is necessary that it should be changed for the scrip certificates, the offices are, we believe, at 35 Lincoln’s Inn Fields. we annex a statement of the sale of the Staines and Richmond shares, and have placed the proceeds to your credit awaiting your orders for payment of that and other monies in our hands. We are not able at present to sell any of the other shares, with the exception of the Armagh & Portrush, for which we have seen bid 7/6 pShare, but did not think it advisable to accept this without knowing your wishes on the subject, Waiting your reply
