Sir,
As many gentlemen on the Committee of the North Wilts Reform association were not present at the meeting held subsequently to the formation of the Society, and several new Members were there added; I am requested to inform you, as a Member of ye Committee, that they will meet <illegible deletion> for business at the Lansdowne Arms (Calne, <1> on Friday next (ye 3d July) at 12 o’Clock precisely, when your attendance is particularly requested. The following amongst other matters have been have been suggested for the attention of the Committee on that occasion
“To receive from each district Comittee <sic> the names of the Chairman, Secretary, & Treasurer appointed by them.
“Also a report of the progress they may have made in the registration of Voters.
“Also, to adopt such measures as may be deemed necessary to assist such districts as may require aid.
And, to consider how far it may be deemed expedient to Carry into effect the suggestion of the parent society addressed to Country Associations.”
