Dear Sir

Though I have pressed for them I have not received any more copies from the printer I shall see Mabey to day on the subject

The honorary Members are supplied through the Booksellers as far as that can be done

M Lenormant <1> has I understand left Paris since his Marriage with a very rich lady the daughter of a Bey but letters addressed to L’Institut, Paris would be forwarded

Mr Smith <2> has supplied me with a list of unpublished Assyrian Texts and as soon as it is ready I will send it to you

I believe that we shall in the Egyptian part be supplied by M. Horrack <3> with the Lamentations of Isis

I shall send you two copies of the Transactions <4> when I get them.

Do not forget that if at all possible your 50 pages of translations will be required in five weeks. please oblige

Opened to say that I have just received yours <5> of 29th Ulto. thanks for the promise but kindly give us the Ishtar <6> also. I cannot send you a specimen page yet but the style will resemble Blackwoods Ancient Classics for English readers <7> Please send everything direct to Dr Birch <8> or myself. Bagsters <9> are the publishers only.
