You will be glad to hear that on Tuesday, the Society’s Meeting was a complete success, and that in addition to your interesting paper, which was read by D^r Cull – we had two others, by M^r G. Smith and R. H Lang Esq, Consul at Cyprus, on the discovery and decypherment of some Cypriote Inscriptions

The Societys Journal is announced for January 1871. Five papers are already in Print. viz two by yourself, Two by D^r Birch, and one by M^r Bosanquet; ^<1> these are only awaiting pagination In addition there is a long one by M Smith nearly completed also – and another by M^r Lang today placed in the Printers hands –
