There will be I hope several volumes of “Records of the Past <1> at least six if the Public support us but the work must not apear too learned & must have a few popular notes – If you write to Dr Birch <2> will you suggest this to him. Your advice is portentious

I expect the issue of Vol II Part II daily from Harrisons, <4> but they are now busied with the general Election

Will you favor us for the library with a copy of your Assyrian glossary <5> You sent me two parts past year, which if you permit me I will give to the Society

Mr Winter Jones<6> has joined Will you second his nomination?
