My Dear Sir
I am very glad to hear from Messrs Bagsters <1> that you have already sent them some Assyrian texts for the next (3d) Volume to which I hope that you will prove a large literary contribution
It is the intention of the Council to originate a Course of Assyrian and Egyptian Historical and philological Lectures in two series one for the general public, and one purely Educational for Students would you be able at some time hereafter to assist us in this matter. it is a shame that England alone has no class for Assyriology
I shall be further most happy to receive any suggestions which you may offer upon our plan
My Dear Sir Yours fally
