My Dear Sir

I enclose you a list of the translations which we may really rely upon and which in fact are in Type. Rawlinson <1> has promised to revise the Tiglath Pileser Cylinder <2> for us but I cannot yet obtain a copy of the text, as the work is out of print

You kindly promised the Sargon, and the Memit Hymns marked thus + on the list. Mr Rodwell <3> gives us the Neriglissar (not Nebuchadnezzar) <4> text and the long inscription of Assur-Nazir-hebal, <5> or as he calls it Assurbanipal. I shall be very glad if you can help us with 20 pages, or more, as there is little time now left on hand.

I am very busy arranging for the Assyrian lecture and handbook of the Grammar of which you shall soon hear more

My Dear Sir Yrs faly
