Dear Sir
Now that the second Assyrian volume is almost out I am planning for the materials for the next, and it has occurred to Mr Birch <1> and myself that it would be a favor if you would give us the India House Inscription of Nebuchadnezzar <2>, and the Borsippa one also – Mr Rodwell <3> takes the Neriglissar and I believe Dr Delitzsch <4> will also contribute a paper as also Prof Schrader. <5> I want the Sycthic text of the Behistum from him, but I cannot get a copy of the German work to have it translated
I hope that you will be pleased with the new volume
I do not want to press you for the texts, only to Know what we may count upon your kindness for, so as to avoid confusion
I should of course be most grateful if you could at your leisure send us also an English Translation of Schraders text
I shall try and have the volumes issued either two at a time or more frequently
Dear Sir Yours faly
