My Dear Sir
Thanks for your valuable paper shall I send it to the printer as it stands or will you forward an enlarged copy with the text and notes
Smith will not give any translation of the Creation tablet <1> in the present part only an untransliterated copy of the tablet
I shall be very glad of a translation of Delitzsch’s <2> preface and I am glad to see you agree with my views as to keeping our friends “au courant” <3> in these matters. I am arranging with Bagsters <4> to issue a quarterly notice raisonnée of New Books on Assyrian and Egyptian – English and Continental and have already sent them a notice of the Lesestücke
Do you know anything of E. De Chossat <5> as an Assyriologist. I have a special reason for enquiring?
Ys fay
