My dear Sir

Harrisons <1> are printing off the new part. Vol. V. <2> p. 2 as fast as they can. The delay has chiefly been caused by the action of the Council which I have not been at hand to quicken

Records Vol. IX is also passed for press and will very soon be out, every thing is ready but Mr Birchs <3> preface

The sad loss at the B.M has most disturbed Dr Birch and Mr Boscawen <4> is dismissed. Alas the New Assyrian students now are Mr E. A. Budge and T. G. Pinches <5> both brought forward by the Archaic classes

Yrs fy

W. R. Cooper
