I think the proof marked .1. is decidedly the best of the three, and if you will be so good as to send a formal note about it to Mr Panizzi I will take care that it shall be sent in.
I am afraid that Mr Preston wd have to get the permission of the Trustees to use the Room & to photograph the objects, In which case of course he wd take a whole day – but if you wish it, and wd apply to the Trustees for leave for him to photograph I have no doubt that they wd give permission – why not make some proofs from the tablets he photographed in August? –
