I am requested by the provisional committee to inform you, that an Archæological and Natural History Society is about to be established for the county of Wilts, and to request the favour that you will accept the office of one of the Vice-Presidents.

The Marquis of Lansdowne is the Patron of the society, Mr G. Poulett Scrope the President, and the Vice Presidents who have already accepted office are
