Carclew <1>
Sept 11th 1837
Dear Henry/
I have not been well and am in fact, now writing from my bed, so that it is impossible for me to say when I can be with you. It must depend upon how I find myself on my journey
If I can I will be with you Thursday morning evening, but do not expect me after ½ past ten oclock. At any rate I hope to be at Lacock by breakfast time on friday morning.
My anxiety to get to Leamington where I ought to have been some weeks back, will prevent me from remaining with you & it is my intention to continue my journey thither on the same day
yours affectly
Valletort
