My dear Sir

I take the liberty of writing to ask if you could let me have a root or seeds of a species of Bomarea which I saw in my friend M^r Ellacombes ^<1> garden & which he told me came from you. I am anxious to get every species of this genus which is in cultivation & shall be happy to send you another equally fine sort, B. multiflora in exchange for it
