J’ai remis hier a MMrs Léon & Levy, <1> conformement au désir que vous m’avez exprimé par votre lettre du 10 Obre, <2> six épreuves sur papier de l’eglise St. Maurice, a Vienne. <3>

Je pense que ces MMessieurs vous feront bientot l’envoi des epreuves S/. verre que vous leur avez demandé et J’ose esperer Monsieur que vous trouverez satisfaisantes ces quelques epreuves que j’ai l’honneur de vous offrir.

Je profite de l’occasion pour vous renouveler l’assurance de mes sentiments les plus distingués

I sent yesterday to Messrs Leon & Levy, according to the desire you expressed to me in your letter of 10 October, six proofs on paper of the St. Maurice church, in Vienne.

I think that these gentlemen will soon send you the proofs on glass that you have asked of them and I dare to hope Sir that you will find these few proofs that I have the honour of offering you to be pleasing to you.

I am taking advantage of the occasion to pass on to you again my sincere regards
